Dr. Sarah Whitley grew up in the Sacramento region in a family with dogs, cats, and horses. She dreamed to be a veterinarian from a very early age and always desired to stay locally to be near her family.
Dr. Whitley has been working as an emergency veterinarian at Atlantic Street Pet Emergency Center since 2006. She graduated from the University of California Davis, with honors, receiving a B.S. in Animal Science with equine specialization in 2000. She graduated from the University of California Davis with a D.V.M in 2006 as part of the Phi Zeta Honor Society.
She is a member of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society as well as the California Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Whitley has a passion for emergency and critical care and feels that the Pet Emergency Center is where she is meant to be. She loves practicing with a staff and other doctors that share her passion for high quality emergency care.
